1. What Data We Collect

Personally Identifiable Information

We collect your email address when you sign up or log in to manage your VSkim Pro subscription status. This is required to authenticate your account and confirm an active license.

Authentication Information

We store session tokens and credentials locally in your browser to keep you logged in across sessions and to verify your Pro subscription access. These tokens are managed via Supabase and scoped exclusively to VSkim.

Custom Skip Segments

When you manually mark segments on a YouTube video, the video ID and timestamp ranges you define are stored in your secure personal profile. This data belongs to you and is used solely to replay your skips.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Your full browsing history or any URLs outside YouTube video pages
Financial or payment information (payments are handled externally by Creem's secure hosted checkout)
Health, location, or any other personally sensitive data categories
Web activity, page content, or data from any other tabs or extensions
Any data from YouTube videos you watch without having marked a segment

3. How We Use Your Data

Your email address and session token are used only to:

Verify that you have an active VSkim Pro subscription
Sync your custom video skip markers across your browsers
Send transactional emails (e.g., subscription confirmation) via Creem

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the single purpose of VSkim: automatically skipping user-defined filler segments in YouTube videos.

4. Developer Certifications

In accordance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, XFRNO certifies the following:

✓We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to VSkim's single purpose.

✓We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Remote Code

VSkim does not use remote code. All extension logic — popup scripts, background service workers, and content scripts — is bundled entirely within the locally installed extension package. No external scripts are loaded or executed at runtime.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active VSkim Pro subscription. If you cancel and would like your data deleted, email us at contact@xfrno.com and we will permanently erase all associated records within 7 business days.
